Dale and Sharon Walker
Senior Pastor
Dale and Sharon Walker are the senior pastors of HFTW Church. Married in 1976, they have 6 children and 10 grandchildren and counting (11 is on the way). They have been in full time ministry for 35 years. For 20 years Dale and Sharon planted and pastored the Vineyard Church in NE El Paso. They moved to Las Cruces in 1998 to plant and lead HFTW Church. They enjoy country living and letting their grandchildren boss them around. They collect old things with Dale being the finest of their collections. And they love sharing God moments with their HFTW family. |

Johnny and Jennie Terrazas
Associate Pastors
Johnny, aka "JT" has been a part of the Heart for the World staff since 2009 and has a passion for teaching God’s Word through simple yet relevant messages that challenge and bring encouragement. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso and holds a BA in Education and a Masters degree in Counseling. He is also currently pursuing a Masters degree in Theology. Jennie serves and oversees the worship ministry at HFTW. JT and Jennie have been married since March of 2000 and have been blessed with two precious daughters. JT enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and camping (RV not tent). |

Chris & Heidi Kohn
Children’s & Missions Pastors
Chris and Heidi Kohn have worked at Heart for the World since 2003. They have been involved in Kids ministry for many years, and have served as Children’s Pastors since 2009. They were married in 1999 and have three amazing boys…Owen, Eli, and Liam. They love making church a fun place to be and are so blessed to be an extension of Jesus’ love to children! Chris has also served on the HFTW mission team since 2003 and has a special passion for children in the nations. He has traveled extensively in Africa and loves sharing Jesus’ love and compassion in the poorest, most distant, and often forgotten places. Chris enjoys traveling, learning languages, writing kids stories, being outdoors, and wrestling with his wild boys! And Heidi enjoys being with her family, cooking, reading, and teaching.

Hunter & Liz Howard
Youth Pastors
Hunter has served in ministry since the age of 17. He lived in Mexico for nearly eight years as a missionary, where he also met and married Liz. They have worked together at Heart for the World since 2008 leading Momentum Youth Movement, our high school and college ministry. MYM's vision is to reach, disciple and revive their generation. Hunter and Liz also serve locally by regularly leading worship for Sunday services. In addition, they also work with our international missions ministry as liaisons to Mexico and Latin America. Their aim is to raise up an army of disciple-makers that will transform their generation and take the gospel to the nations. |
